Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
OptiClear Auto Glass LLC provides a lifetime warranty on workmanship for all auto glass replacement and windshield repair services, valid for as long as the original customer owns the serviced vehicle.
This warranty is designed to give our customers confidence in the quality, safety, and professionalism of our installations.
What Our Warranty Covers
Windshield Replacement
Our lifetime workmanship warranty covers installation-related defects, including:
Air leaks or water leaks
Wind noise caused by improper installation
Urethane bond failure
Improper sealing or fitment of the installed glass
Installation-related glass defects directly caused by workmanship
If a covered defect occurs, OptiClear Auto Glass will, at its discretion, repair or replace the installed glass at no charge.
Windshield Repair
Windshield repairs are covered by a lifetime warranty against spreading from the original repaired damage.
If a repaired chip or crack spreads due to a failure of the repair:
OptiClear Auto Glass may refund the repair cost, or
Apply the repair cost as a credit toward windshield replacement
The warranty applies only to the original repaired damage location.
Warranty Limitations & Exclusions
While we stand behind our work, the following items are not covered under this warranty:
Ownership & Transfer
The warranty applies only to the original customer
The warranty is not transferable
Warranty coverage ends if the vehicle is sold or ownership is transferred
Accidental & Road-Related Damage
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Rock chips, stones, gravel, or road debris
Accidents or collisions
Vandalism or intentional damage
Weather-related events (hail, falling objects, etc.)
Vehicle body flex or structural movement
These are considered new incidents, not workmanship defects.
Glass Appearance
Minor visual distortion or cosmetic imperfections inherent to automotive glass are not covered
Repaired areas may remain slightly visible — repairs restore safety, not cosmetic perfection
Vehicle Condition & External Factors
Warranty coverage does not apply to issues caused by:
Pre-existing rust, corrosion, or damaged pinch welds
Previous improper installations by another service provider
Vehicle modifications affecting fitment or body integrity
Failure to maintain or protect the vehicle after service
ADAS & Vehicle Technology
Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) performance is not guaranteed unless calibration is performed when required
ADAS calibration is not included unless specifically quoted
OptiClear Auto Glass is not responsible for system malfunction due to lack of required calibration
Safe Drive-Away Time (SDAT)
Failure to follow technician-provided Safe Drive-Away Time (SDAT) instructions may void warranty coverage. SDAT guidelines are provided to ensure proper curing and occupant safety.
What To Do If You Experience an Issue
If you believe there is a warranty-related issue:
Contact OptiClear Auto Glass as soon as possible
Provide proof of service (invoice or receipt)
Allow inspection of the vehicle and installed glass
Warranty claims must be evaluated before any repairs or alterations are performed by another party.
Limitation of Liability
OptiClear Auto Glass LLC’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the installed glass. We are not responsible for:
Incidental or consequential damages
Loss of vehicle use
Damage unrelated to the original installation

We believe in honest recommendations, professional workmanship, and standing behind our work. If something isn’t right due to installation, we’ll make it right.
If damage occurs from the road or an accident, we’ll still help you — just not under warranty.
